I remember reading and loving this book as a kid. I like the idea of a movie, but I'm always wary of when they try to take a 32 page book and turn it into a 90 min. movie. I'm not sure what I think of this yet, but I might go see it just for the spaghetti falling out of the sky.
What do you think? Should picture books become movies?

I didn't know this was a picture book. It looked fun, when I saw the trailer and it was cool to see it in 3-D b/c I was watching Monsters Vs. Aliens.
I don't know what I think about picture books becoming films...I guess it's fun to see, and it's not a huge deal if things are changed, of course, b/c they need to be...but I do think it might be weird.
This was (and still is) one of my all-time favorite picture books. The movie looks nothing like it though! Hopefully it will be better than it seems....I LOVE this book!
Lots of picture books get turned into movies. Dr. Suess, for one. :)
I'd never heard of this one, but LOL this looks hilarious.
