I found a new used bookstore to visit and they had a great children's/YA selection. I'll be going back when I need to stock up on books for my children's lit class next semester.
Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty (I've been reading everyone's reviews, so I thought I'd give this one a try)
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson (she's going to be at ALA and at Anderson's bookstore, so I need to stock up on her books so I can hopefully get some signed!)
A Wind in the Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, & Many Waters by Madeleine L'Engle (to add to my Time Quartet Collection.)Then, I headed to Borders and I was super excited to head to Borders
and find some great YA books on the bargain table!

Amber-Yep, the bookstore was Hooked on Books. It's not new (but new to me) and it was pretty cool!

The covers of the first two books made me gasp. Yes, even the little pig. I need to find out more about those books now! And of course I am green with envy about Shiver! ;)
