In My Mailbox is hosted by The Story Siren!
I went to the local used bookstore this week and came home with some great reads that both my husband and I are looking forward to!
A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly-ok this one was for me, I just read it for class and loved it!
The Amulet of Samarkand by Jonathan Stroud
The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett
The Book of Three by Lloyd Alexander-my husband has already started reading this one
From the library I got:
Splendor by Anna Godbersen-this book better end the way I want or I'm throwing it across the room!
Lips Touch: Three Times by Laini Taylor
I also started putting some holiday themed books on hold for the 2009 Holiday Reading Challenge! I just hope they get here in time!

Ooh, you got Amulet of Sarmakand! I love the trilogy that it is a part of. Absolutely hilarious - I hope you like it too.
::buttons her lips about "Splendor"::
For what it's worth, I liked the book as a conclusion to the series. And that's all I'm saying about that.
Happy reading!
Ohhh, I've got both SPLENDOR and LIPS TOUCH THREE TIMES on my TBR list for post-Cybils reading.
Happy reading!
Ooh-Katie! I have to go read this one now! We will talk when I finish, ok? :)
Great books!! I can't wait to read A Northern Light myself!
fantastic book week! hope you enjoy them all!! happy reading!
Loved A Northern Light!
I gave up on The Luxe Series after I struggled through the first two. I'm not a history purist, but I would like my historical fiction a little more eh, accurate.
I read The Amulet of Samarkand and the other books in the trilogy last year and enjoyed them. they are quite different, but I thought pretty darn good. :)
Can't wait to see what you think.
Great books you got this week. They all look really good. Hope you enjoy reading all your books.
I can't wait for Splendour to be released in the UK! I NEED to know how it ends! Hope you enjoy all your books.
