Some exciting movie deals happened this week in the YA world.
-The upcoming novel Lonely Hearts Club by Elizabeth Eulberg was optioned by Mandalay Pictures. The novel is about a girl who says no to love and forms a club of girls who refuse to date. The novel is released on December 29. I'll be reviewing this one soon, so stay tuned!
-Natalie Portman is set to star and produce a movie adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I love this idea and I think she'll be great and the movie very funny.
-Disney picked up rights to Lauren Kate's Fallen. Anyone else think fallen angels are the next big thing?
And of course, for your viewing pleasure, here's the first trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One. Movie six let me down because they cut out so much, but I have my hopes high again for this one (anyone else notice the Weasley wedding scene?)
