YA Movie News

-Mary Elizabeth Winstead is set to play Mary Todd Lincoln in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Mary might look familiar because she was Ramona in last year's Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.

Debut author Cat Patrick's upcoming novel, Forgotten, has been picked up and is being developed as a film starring True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld. Forgotten tells the story of a teen girl who loses her memory every evening and the book will be out this summer.

-The Hugo Cabret film is getting an earlier release date. The movie will now be hitting theaters November 23, just in time for Thanksgiving. I'm anxious to see how this book transfers to the big screen. Thanks to
Shelf-Awareness for the news.

-And I had to share the trailer for the upcoming Something, Borrowed based on the novel by Emily Giffin. I can't wait for this movie!

  1. I'm really excited for Something Borrowed too! I should probably do a re-read in advance but... maybe not. I don't want to hate the movie, lol.

  2. Wow, I had no idea Something Borrowed was going to be a movie! It looks so good. I barely recognize Ginnifer G. And that guy? Niiiice. I like how they've put a humor twang to it. Because Giffin's stuff is more serious to me. Looks good!

  3. Can't wait for the Hugo Cabret movie!

  4. Hello. Just wanted to let you know we have given your blog an award.

what do you think? Let's just say it made me pull out Mockingjay (the only one I own) and I can.not.wait. for the movie.
