YA Movie News

-Variety reports that MGM has picked up the film adaptation of Gayle Forman's If I Stay and Chloe Moretz is in negotiations to star. 

-Emma Watson is set to star in a Game of Thrones for YA possible franchise. The film will be based on the upcoming novel, The Queen of the Tearling, which will be published by Harper Collins in 2014.

-Filming for The Maze Runner has begun. The film is set to open February 14, 2014.

-The Hunger Games: Catching Fire marketing is gearing up with the release of Capitol Coture.

-BBC is set to start filming an adaptation of Death Comes to Pemberley. You can never have too many Austen adaptations or spinoffs!
