No More Shojo Beat Magazine?

As a teen librarian, I have to be aware of teen books, especially manga. And just like my books, I like my manga to be funny and I usually lean towards the romance series. That's why I love Shojo Beat magazine. It compiles great girly manga into one issue and I'm totally addicted to Sand Chronicles and Vampire Knight!!!

So I am extremely sad to see that Shojo Beat magazine will be ceasing publication in July. I really think some of my teens are going to cry over this news.

I need your help. I know there are manga fans out there in the blogging world. Anything that I could get to replace the hole that Shojo Beat Magazine will leave in my manga collection?

    I know Rhonda! One of my teens had recently submitted artwork that we were hoping to see show up in a magazine soon. I love Shojo Beat, so I was really bummed out by this news.

    I was really disappointed to hear this news too. Like you, I'm also searching for a magazine replacement. The teens at my library are giong to be upset. This magazine never stays on the shelf, back issues and new issues.
