2013 Comment Challenge

The Comment Challenge is back! Lee Wind at I'm Here, I'm Queer, What Do I Read?  and Pam at Mother Reader have brought back the comment challenge for 2013!

The idea is to comment five times on blogs each day for 21 days to create a habit of commenting and creating a community in the blogging world. I'm hoping I can start reading my blog feed again this year-I've really lacked in that in 2012 due to all my committee reading. I love leaving comments for bloggers and I love participating in the comment challenge, so we'll see if I can keep up the challenge this year!

You can find the sign up at I'm Here. I'm Queer. What Do I Read? I hope you join in and comment away!!

  1. I love this challenge. I am really bad at commenting, although I read blogs everyday, including every post of yours. I'm going to try to be better at commenting this year. Thank you for your great blog and all the work you put into it.

  2. Sounds like an awesome way to get back into commenting. It really is important to connect with other bloggers.

I am hoping to visit your blog more this year because I really enjoy it. It's hard because I follow so many blogs and my own blog takes so much time. But I'm trying.

  3. I'm just getting into commenting, although I've been following quite a few blogs for awhile. I like the idea behind the challenge as well.

  4. I probably won't officially join this challenge, but I really like the idea of setting a goal like that for myself. I was originally thinking of making Sundays my blog comment day, but commenting on a few every day will probably be better.

  5. Thanks for this info! I just signed up! I had a ridiculously busy fall that got me out of the habit of regularly commenting on blogs. I'm hoping to build that habit up again!

  6. Thanks for sharing about this contest-I think it's just what I need to stay motivated. I'm anxiously awaiting Jan. 28...I can't wait to hear what the new Printz book will be this year. I hope you'll post something after the announcement because it would be awesome to have an insider's perspective!

13 District Mockingjay Tour: District 4

Hello and welcome to District Four. I'm sorry that Finnick isn't here to be your host. I know as a member of District Four I should be cheering for my own tribute, but after watching the last two Hunger Games play out I have fallen in love with Peeta Mellark! Why do I love Peeta? He's smart, he's funny, and he's charming. He stands up for what he believes, he's loyal and he's not afraid to do what's right. He's sensitive and caring but can also be strong and kick butt. He fights for Katniss and with Katniss. Peeta is a great diplomat and he knows how to bring people together. He can also be sneaky to get what he wants. Plus, did I mention he can bake? And he's hot!! But it's not just me! We have an underground club of sorts here in District Four-Seafaring Librarians for Peeta! Here's what some of our members had to say about their love for Peeta: - Team Peeta!! I love their relationship because they balance each other perfectly. Where
