The Comment Challenge is back! Lee Wind at I'm Here, I'm Queer, What Do I Read?  and Pam at Mother Reader  have brought back the comment challenge for 2013! The idea is to comment five times on blogs each day for 21 days to create a habit of commenting and creating a community in the blogging world. I'm hoping I can start reading my blog feed again this year-I've really lacked in that in 2012 due to all my committee reading. I love leaving comments for bloggers and I love participating in the comment challenge, so we'll see if I can keep up the challenge this year! You can find the sign up at I'm Here. I'm Queer. It's the start to a new year and one of my blogging resolutions is to comment more on the blogs I read. So of course I had to sign up for Mother Reader and Lee Wind's Comment Challenge 2012. The goal of the challenge is to leave at least 5 comments between today (January 5) and January 25 and to read 100 comments by the end. Each Wednesday we'll check in and post our updates. I'm going to try and keep track of comments on this post so I have an easy tallying system. So won't you join in? Today is the start of the Comment Challenge 2010 brought to you by Mother Reader and Lee Wind . The goal is to stop lurking and comment on blogs from now until Jan. 28. Here's the details from Mother Reader: "Since it is said that it takes twenty-one days to form a new habit, we’re going to run the Comment Challenge for the next three weeks — starting Friday, January 8, and running through Thursday, January 28, 2010. The goal is to comment on at least five kidlitosphere blogs a day. Keep track of your numbers, and report in on Fridays with me or Lee. We’ll tell each other how we’re doing and keep each other fired up. On Thursday, January 28, we’ll have a final check-in post for the Comment Challenge. A prize package will be involved, drawing from among the bloggers who reach the 100 Comment Mark (five comments a day for twenty-one days with one day free of comment charge).
