I know, I am sick of being treated as if I do not matter. I am a living, breathing, human being and I deserve to be treated with the same respect as everybody else-as does everyone and every teen. Especially in a library; my safe place, one of my favorite in the world. Luckily, no one has ever talking condescendingly to me at my library, and I hope it remains that way. Thanks for sticking up for us. :)

Amen! I get so frustrated with the members of my staff who act like every teen is trying to steal stuff or look up porn!
ReplyDeleteThat's ridiculous. Teenagers are people too (I'm not a teen, but still).
ReplyDeleteI think if teens are using the library they should absolutely be encouraged, not treated like dirt.
Amen. Thank you for sticking up for teenagers.
