GreenBean News!

Mr. GreenBeanSexy and I have some news to share:
Baby GreenBean is on the way! Or as I said on Facebook, we'll be getting a letter from Hogwarts in 11 years!!!

I'm feeling excited and a bit nervous, but I have some very awesome librarian moms (Lali JennieMel  and Sophie-and many others!) who have gone before me and they are my inspiration for how to be a great mommy librarian.

As for the blog, don't worry-it's not going anywhere! If anything, it means I'll have a test subject for books and might review even more picture books. :) Baby GreenBean is arriving in January, so I've still got a long way to go. In the meantime, my picture book collection is going to get huge!!

  1. Congrats!!!!!!!! Lovely news. You need to start a fairy tale collection now. LOL!

  2. Congratulations! It is the most fun thing ever to be a mom.

  3. Congratulations, all the best to you and hubby.

  4. So excited for you! Congrats! Can't wait to see baby pictures.

  5. Congratulations to you and your family! Being a mombarain is the best!!

And you think that books sounds like it would be right up your alley, but you're in a reading slump and you're afraid to give it a try unless it fails? I knew Eleanor and Park sounded like my perfect book, but I was in such an after committee slump that I even though I knew this book would help, I just didn't want to be disappointed. I should have known better because Eleanor and Park was perfect and everything that I had hoped it wou

I've got a reading list full of books that I hope will satisfy my post-Downton Abbey cravings and I thought I'd share what's in my pile and get suggestions for other after Downton reads. Here's what I hope to be reading this year (a mix of YA and adult titles):                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  A couple Julian Fellowes reads:                And a few re-reads:                    Edited to add: What's on your Post-Downton Abbey reading list?
