And you think that books sounds like it would be right up your alley, but you're in a reading slump and you're afraid to give it a try unless it fails? I knew Eleanor and Park sounded like my perfect book, but I was in such an after committee slump that I even though I knew this book would help, I just didn't want to be disappointed. ReplyDeleteI really don't have a comment for this one :I
Wow publishing world..wow. Lets milk every last penny out of this fad.
ReplyDeleteWill someone wake me up when the nightmare is over?
That's so ridiculous, it's hilarious...haha! Quite frankly, I'm not even surprised.
ReplyDeleteOh...dear...
ReplyDeleteI think the best part is the description of what you can make
ReplyDelete" • Black capes are so 1897, instead get stylish with the dead sexy Sidhe Shrug.
• Unleash your inner shapeshifter with the Werewolf Hat.
• Keep warm while holding hands with your vampire by wearing these Bellisima Mittens.
• Around humans? Use the Blood Bottle Cozies to disguise your beverage. "
Mwahaha! That is completely crazy, but I guess if you're into knitting and are a vampire-lover, you would buy the book ... good marketing idea, although it makes me laugh maniacally in my head.
ReplyDeleteSeriously I want a knit pattern for a cozy for my fangs ;D
ReplyDeleteOy vey
Then again, perhaps I'd look twice if they did a "knitting for zombies" :)
haha! That's so ridiculous and frankly, pretty stupid! But sadly, I know people who would actually BUY that book! :/
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about the werewolf hat. Sounds like it has the potential to be quite cute (or absolutely hideous).
ReplyDeletehahahaha! Love it. And you know what's awesome? Vampires don't need knitwear...they don't get cold.
ReplyDeleteAnd seriously, do you ever actually SEE anyone walking around with homemade knitted clothes? We get so many of those books through our office, but I have yet to see a knitted bikini or tank top on someone.
LOL I saw that when I was searching for upcoming knit and crochet books awhile back and thought the same thing, it's pretty insane.
ReplyDeleteThe sad thing, is I bet some of the stuff inside will be beautiful but because of the whole vampire thing it will just suck. HA!
when will it end!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sick of dead people.

New follower here... your blog cracks me up!
ReplyDelete... and oh sheesh.
Vampires... they aren't what they used to be.
I suppose if you have eternity you could probably master knitting though...
You know what's funny? I can completely imagine what kind of knits vampires would wear. I may have to ask my mom to buy this and knit me some sweaters (yes, she does that for me).
