What do you think everyone? I think they look pretty good-although I think Gale should be a bit more built. And Peeta's such a cutie!:)
Hello and welcome to District Four. I'm sorry that Finnick isn't here to be your host. I know as a member of District Four I should be cheering for my own tribute, but after watching the last two Hunger Games play out I have fallen in love with Peeta Mellark! Why do I love Peeta? He's smart, he's funny, and he's charming. He stands up for what he believes, he's loyal and he's not afraid to do what's right. He's sensitive and caring but can also be strong and kick butt. He fights for Katniss and with Katniss. Peeta is a great diplomat and he knows how to bring people together. He can also be sneaky to get what he wants. Plus, did I mention he can bake? And he's hot!! But it's not just me! We have an underground club of sorts here in District Four-Seafaring Librarians for Peeta! I think the acting will have to really show us what they're like, but I agree with the FYA girls--not how I picture Peeta and Gale at all! :(

ReplyDeleteI am on Team Gale... but this cover would make me lean toward Team Peeta... Gale is super hot in my mind... dirty, sweaty, muscle-y...this cover doesn't reflect that! : )
ReplyDeletei love who they picked for peeta, but being team gale, i think he is all wrong for the most part, but that's the best picture i've seen of him. i'm not getting my hopes up though.

Not really how I pictured them either....and they look so OLD! :/ I mean, I know they cast older actors but they're not that old in the books.
ReplyDeleteI started reading The Hunger Games after I found out who the actors were going to be, so I totally had these guys in my mind the whole time I was reading the series. Which worked out perfectly! What's his face is perfect as Peeta. To me he's Peeta already so that I can't even remember the actor's name! lol
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to find others who are team Gale! My sister and some others I know who have read the book are team Peeta, and there's just no getting through to them. This isn't how I pictured either of them, really, so up front its a tad disappointing, but hopefully their acting will make up for it :)
ReplyDeleteI feel like there is a bit of role reversal here. Gale should be all beef-cakey while Peeta should be the one who is a bit smaller.
