Official Mockingjay 13 District Blog Tour

I am so excited for the upcoming release of Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins (out August 24!) and I'm sure many of you are too. Which is why I'm thrilled to announce GreenBeanTeenQueen is part of the Official Mockingjay 13 District Blog Tour!



GreenBeanTeenQueen is a member of District 4 (home to Finnick and Mags-yes, I'm a proud district four member!), so on Monday August 9, be sure to stop by the blog for an exclusive Hunger Games giveaway! (I can't tell you what-I have to keep you in suspense, but I will say it's very cool and you'll want to check it out!)

In the meantime, you can check out the new Official Hunger Games Facebook Page-there are polls, sample chapters from the first two books, and my favorite part, you can gift supplies to your friends! Are you excited? Any predictions for what will happen in Mockingjay? And of course, the question on everyone's mind-Team Peeta or Team Gale? (Team Peeta!!)

    OMG I am freaking out - I am so jealous!! :-) I pre-ordered three copies for my library so that I could start reading it IMMEDIATELY and not feel bad about hogging it. Cannot WAIT!!

    Totally Team Peeta. I ordered two t-shirts from Zazzle to indulge in my obsession with all things Hunger Games...

13 District Mockingjay Tour: District 4

Hello and welcome to District Four. I'm sorry that Finnick isn't here to be your host. I know as a member of District Four I should be cheering for my own tribute, but after watching the last two Hunger Games play out I have fallen in love with Peeta Mellark! Why do I love Peeta? He's smart, he's funny, and he's charming. He stands up for what he believes, he's loyal and he's not afraid to do what's right. He's sensitive and caring but can also be strong and kick butt. He fights for Katniss and with Katniss. Peeta is a great diplomat and he knows how to bring people together. He can also be sneaky to get what he wants. Plus, did I mention he can bake? And he's hot!! But it's not just me! We have an underground club of sorts here in District Four-Seafaring Librarians for Peeta!
