Want It Wednesday #12

I have been eagerly awaiting this weeks Want It Wednesday post since last Wednesday when I fell in love with a new series I saw on Lauren's Crammed Bookshelf. Thank you Lauren!

Release Date: December 22, 2009 (Waaay too long, I know!)

About the Book: (From the Author's Site) Felicity Walker believes in true love. That’s why she applies for a gig at the matchmaking company Cupid’s Hollow. But when Felicity gets the job, she learns that she isn’t just a matchmaker…she’s a cupid! (There’s more than one of them, you know.)

Armed with a hot pink, tricked-out PDA infused with the latest in cupid magic (love arrows shot through email), Felicity works to meet her quota of successful matches.

But when she bends the rules of cupidity by matching her best friend Maya with three different boys at once, disaster strikes. Felicity needs to come up with a plan to set it all right, pronto, before she gets fired…and before Maya ends up with her heart split in three.

GreenBeanTeenQueens Says: Ok, a long time ago when I was in high school, there was this wonderful (but sadly short-lived) TV show called Cupid. It was created by Rob Thomas, (pre Veronica Mars) and it was about a guy who thought he was Cupid and each week had to match couples. Ever since I watched that show, I have been in love with everything Cupid, especially modern versions of Cupid. Plus, I love romance and can't get enough of fun romantic comedies.
So naturally, when I heard about this new trilogy, I was squealing in girly delight!:) The premise sounds wonderful and quirky, which I love, and full of girly romance and crazy situations. Plus, Felicity has a tricked out hot pink PDA-how jealous am I??
Check out the covers for the next two in the series:
So adorable!! I really can't wait to read these! (And thank you ABC for giving Cupid the TV show a second shot, although I miss the original cast dearly.) Maybe this will just end up being a Cupid-filled year!:)

Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell

Rating: 5/5 Stars Genre: Realistic Fiction Release Date: 2/26/2013 Add to Goodreads About the Book: Eleanor and Park are both misfits. When new girl Eleanor sits next to Park on the bus, they don't want anything to do with each other. But over the course of the school year, things change. It starts with comic books and becomes a friendship and a romance that the two will never forget. You never forget your first love. GreenBeanTeenQueen Says: Have you ever had a book sit on your shelf that you've heard so much hype about? And you think that books sounds like it would be right up your alley, but you're in a reading slump and you're afraid to give it a try unless it fails? I knew Eleanor and Park sounded like my perfect book, but I was in such an after committee slump that I even though I knew this book would help, I just didn't want to be disappointed. I should have known better because Eleanor and Park was perfect and everything that I had hoped it wou

Post Downton Abbey Reading List

Downton Abbey is over (with a shocking and frustrating ending!) and now I'm suffering Downton Abbey withdrawal. I've got a reading list full of books that I hope will satisfy my post-Downton Abbey cravings and I thought I'd share what's in my pile and get suggestions for other after Downton reads. Here's what I hope to be reading this year (a mix of YA and adult titles):                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  A couple Julian Fellowes reads:                And a few re-reads:                    Edited to add: What's on your Post-Downton Abbey reading list?
