Want It Wednesday

A weekly posting of things I'm wishing for.

Give up the Ghost by Megan Crewe

Release Date: 9/15/09

About the Book: Cass McKenna much prefers ghosts to “breathers.” Ghosts are uncomplicated and dependable. They know the dirt on everybody . . . and Cass loves dirt.

She’s on a mission to expose the dirty secrets of all of the poseurs in her school. But when the vice president of the student council discovers her secret, Cass’s whole scheme hangs in the balance. Timwants her help to contact his recently deceased mother, but Cass is less than enthusiastic.

Kicking and screaming, Cass becomes increasingly entwined in Tim’s life. And she’s more surprised than anyone when she realizes that maybe some living people aren’t so bad if she’d only give them a chance.

GreenBeanTeenQueen Says: I LOVE this cover! I love how the ghost appears behind the girl and how you don't really notice it at first. Not only that, but the book sounds amazing, so I can't wait to read it!

Dust Bookshelves

My husband and I are in need of new bookshelves, so when I saw these on Korianne Speak's blog, I was in love. But for some reason my husband doesn't want to spend $2,000 on a cartoon bookshelf-I don't know why! :) They are super cute, but I'm wondering just how many books they'd actually hold.

And you think that books sounds like it would be right up your alley, but you're in a reading slump and you're afraid to give it a try unless it fails? Post Downton Abbey Reading List

Downton Abbey is over (with a shocking and frustrating ending!) and now I'm suffering Downton Abbey withdrawal. I've got a reading list full of books that I hope will satisfy my post-Downton Abbey cravings and I thought I'd share what's in my pile and get suggestions for other after Downton reads. Here's what I hope to be reading this year (a mix of YA and adult titles):                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  A couple Julian Fellowes reads:                And a few re-reads:                    Edited to add: What's on your Post-Downton Abbey reading list?
